Our specially designed program aims to develop many early skills needed to successfully enter grade school. Like the MELS’ pre-school education program we want to allow your child:
• To know himself or herself
• To develop his or her personality
• To form relationships with others
• To gradually become independent
• To develop the desire to learn
• To experiment with work methods
As they do in kindergarten, we use play to teach kids the basics of karate including not only the techniques but also the philosophy of this wonderful sport. In our class, kids learn to:
• Kick, punch and perform basics forms
• Express themselves
• Work in a group
• Take responsibility
Everything is done in an easy going, relax atmosphere, yet discipline is really important to us. Using positive reinforcement, we contribute to:
• Physical development
• Emotional development
• Social development
• Language development
• Intellectual development
